Faits intéressants
Black Snakeroot is a tall native woodland perennial found in rich forests, forest edges, and shaded gardens. It produces tall spikes of fragrant white flowers in summer above large, deeply divided leaves. It is excellent for shade gardens, woodland gardens, and naturalized landscapes. It is slow growing but long-lived. It forms large clumps over time but is not aggressive. It prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil. It is great for adding height in a shady garden where many flowering plants struggle. You can leave stems standing after flowering to provide winter structure and wildlife habitat.
