Robert's Geranium is a small, delicate plant with deeply divided, often reddish-green leaves and small pink to magenta flowers from late spring through fall. The foliage often develops a distinctive reddish colour as the season progresses.
Robert's Geranium can self-seed very readily and spread into lawns, garden beds, cracks, woodland edges and other disturbed areas. Seeds can be dispersed surprisingly far because the plant has a spring-loaded seed mechanism. It is generally easy to pull when young, but established plants can produce many seeds.
