Path Rush is a small, adaptable native rush often found growing in compacted soils, pathways, lawns, and disturbed areas. It forms narrow green clumps with fine stems and produces tiny flowers in summer. Unlike many wetland rushes, it tolerates drier conditions and can grow in poor soils. Its tidy appearance makes it useful in naturalized areas and challenging garden locations. It is extremely tough and adaptable. It tolerates compacted soils and difficult sites.
