Prairie Junegrass is a cool-season grass valued for its fine texture and early growth. It forms tidy clumps of narrow leaves and produces delicate flower spikes in early summer. It is an excellent choice for dry gardens and native grass plantings. It is a well-behaved clumping grass that is very drought tolerant once established. It is excellent for small gardens and meadow edges. Avoid rich, wet soils.
