Faits intéressants

Common hoptree is a clusters of small, fragrant, greenish-white flowers bloom in late spring, followed by attractive wafer-like winged seeds that persist into winter. The glossy, three-part leaves give the tree an attractive tropical appearance, making it an excellent specimen for smaller native gardens. It will grow a crooked little trunk and a rounded crown. Dark green leaves in summer turn yellow in fall; greenish white flowers in the spring.

Common Hop-tree is very tolerant of drought once established. It can be grown as a multi-stem shrub or pruned into a small tree. It grows moderately fast. It is an excellent choice for difficult sites where many trees struggle.
