Faits intéressants

Nannyberry has glossy, oval leaves and clusters of creamy-white flowers in late spring. The flowers are followed by oval fruits that mature from green to pink, then dark blue-black in late summer or fall. The foliage often develops attractive red to purple colours in autumn. It is an excellent native shrub for hedges, woodland edges, naturalized gardens, and larger perennial borders. Once established, it can tolerate periods of drought. It is a great choice for gardeners who want a multi-season native shrub with flowers, fruit and fall colour. Give it adequate space to thrive.
