Bottlebrush Grass is a quick to mature, short lived perennial grass that thrives in dappled shade, and is tolerant of dry soil. As a cool season grass, it grows actively in the spring and fall. It blooms early in the summer and then the “bottle brush” seed structure makes an attractive decorative specimen in the garden.
