Faits intéressants
White Wood Aster has branching, dark stems and heart-shaped, toothed leaves. Small white flowers with yellow centres appear from late summer into fall, often brightening shady areas when many other woodland plants have finished blooming. It naturally grows in dry to average deciduous woods, woodland edges, and rocky slopes. It prefers well-drained soil. Its airy, informal appearance makes it particularly attractive in naturalized woodland gardens. It is an excellent choice for dry shade, where many plants struggle. Avoid consistently wet, poorly drained soil. It is great beneath mature trees and along woodland edges.
