Inflated Tobacco grows in open woods, meadows, and disturbed soils. Its small pale blue flowers are followed by inflated seed capsules that give the plant its common name. Flowers attract small native bees, sweat bees, tiny butterflies, and beneficial flies. It is best suited to naturalized gardens.
