Faits intéressants

Slender Beardtongue has slender upright stems and narrow leaves. Tubular lavender to pale purple flowers appear in late spring and early summer. It naturally occurs in prairies, dry meadows, open woodlands, and rocky areas. Its relatively small size and airy appearance make it a good choice for prairie borders and smaller native plantings. It is good choice for dry, sunny gardens. It requires excellent drainage, particularly through winter. It is drought tolerant once established. Avoid rich, wet soils. It can be slow to establish from seed.
