Michigan Lily produces spectacular orange flowers with strongly recurved petals during mid-summer. It thrives in moist prairies, open woods, and sunny meadows with consistently moist soil. It is excellent for hummingbirds, butterflies, sphinx moths, bumble bees, and long-tongued native bees. It slowly forms clumps over time. Avoid frequent transplanting.
