Faits intéressants

Lance-leaved Figwort has narrow, lance-shaped leaves and clusters of small, greenish to reddish-purple flowers. The flowers are somewhat understated but have an interesting, intricate form and appear from late spring through summer. It is a good choice for a woodland edge, naturalized border, or native meadow garden. It forms upright clumps and is generally well behaved. It prefers consistent moisture but can tolerate average garden conditions once established. It does not usually require dividing. Its relatively inconspicuous flowers make it better suited to an informal or naturalistic planting than a formal flower border.
