Faits intéressants
Narrow-leaved Blue-eyed Grass is a member of the Iris family. It is called a grass because its leaves are long and slender resembling grass, but it is not a grass. It produces tiny star-shaped blue flowers that grow along the stem and have glowing yellow centers. Its natural habitat is in moist areas. It blends well with native grasses. It is an en excellent choice for the front of a native border, meadow, or naturalized lawn. It forms neat clumps and is generally well behaved. Allow some seed to mature if you want it to naturalize. It does best with regular moisture during its growing season but can tolerate somewhat drier soil once established. Avoid planting it in areas that remain soggy year-round. It can go somewhat dormant during periods of summer heat or drought and return when conditions improve.
